Arua Hill Striker Brian Junior Omirambe has completed a move to Rwanda second tier club AS Muhanga.

Omirambe joins AS Muhanga on a short term contract of six months with an option for extension at the end of the season.

The youthful forward is a former striker of Edgar’s Youth Soccer Academy and notably Buddu Ssaza and Busujju in the Masaza Cup competition.

He has been an Arua Hill player since last year in January when he joined the club on a two year contract.

Omirambe is expected to play a crucial role as AS Muhanga strive for promotion back to the topflight league in the final months of the season.

AS Muhanga, based in Muhanga district in the South Province, were relegated to the second tier from the topflight in the shortened season of 2020/21 alongside Sunrise FC.

After 15 games played, The “Abatsinzi” are now second placed on the Group B table of the second tier with 36 points, one behind leaders Visions FC.
