Video:Kitara head coach Ssenyondo opens up on magic rings

Kitara FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo has opened up about the allegations regarding his rings.

On Friday last week, witchcraft took stage in Vipers SC 2-0 win over Kitara FC in the epic Uganda Premier league title run in clash at Masindi Municipal Stadium.

The witchcraft claim came in the second period when Vipers SC defender Hillary Mukundane complained to the center referee Mashood Ssali that Kitara captain Maxwell Owachgiu had witch in his pants.

There were also claims that Kitara head coach Ssenyondo has magic rings that enable him win matches.

While appearing on NBS PressBox, the tactician revealed that the rings are about fashion but not for extra power

“Maybe I have extra power in the way I manage the team and train it. If it’s about the rings, that’s fashion and anything added is nonsense. You can’t seat there if you are a reasonable person and see someone putting on a ring and you claim he uses magic.” Said Ssenyondo before adding,

“I remember one person sat on a certain TV and said that in Kitara if you don’t kiss those rings there’s no way you can be selected. So my players know that all this is absolute nonsense.”

Kitara FC are currently third on the Uganda Premier league table with 44 points and will next visit Express FC on Wednesday at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
