Vipers SC finished third on Uganda Premier league table in the just concluded season.
The Venoms who had won the title for the previous two seasons were dethroned by record champions SC Villa.
Despite a disappointing campaign, Allan Okello who joined the side at the start of the season has sent a message to fans.
“Special thank you to all our fans for the support throughout this season. We’re disappointed with how it ended but you’ve been with us till the very end. Now it’s time to rest, recharge then we go again. We shall be back next season.”
SC Villa clinched a record extending 17th league title with 57 points while BUL FC and Vipers SC finished second and third respectively with 56 points.
This was the first since the 2018/19 campaign that Vipers also finished trophyless.
