SC Villa dominates Paul Put’s summoned Uganda Cranes squad for Algeria and Botswana

Uganda Cranes Head Coach Put Paul Joseph has named squad of 28 players to prepare for the forthcoming 2026 FUFA World Cup Qualifiers.

The Belgian tactician announced the squad on Thursday during a press conference held at FUFA Complex in Mengo, Kampala.

Newly Crowned Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa dominate the summoned squad with Goalkeeper Brady Jeans Wokorach, defender Kenneth Semakula, midfielder Ronald Ssekiganda and attackers Umar Lutalo and Patrick Jonah Kakande all named in Put’s squad.

Allan Okello is the only Vipers player named while KCCA has Muhammad Shaban and Joel Sserunjogi.

Uganda will face off with Botswana and Algeria on 7th June and 10th at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
