FUFA President Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim has delivered UGX 50 million winning bonus that was promised to Uganda Cranes for a win against Botswana by Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among Magogo.
Among earlier gave Uganda Cranes Shs50M in preparations to the double header against Botswana and Algeria before she promised to rewarded the team Shs50M for every win.
The Uganda Cranes beat Botswana 1-0 at Namboole courtesy of Shaban Muhammad second half goal.
The Speaker has congratulated the players on the precious win, commended the fighting spirit and resilience exhibited in the match that eventually paid off with a result that made Ugandans very happy and proud. She wished the entire team good luck against Algeria.
The team held a recovery training session as it prepares to face Algeria on Monday 10th June 2024 at 7pm.
