KCCA FC have confirmed the signing of Kwikiriza Shafik Nana as their first signing for this transfer window.
He has joined the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions on a five-year deal with KCCA FC until the end of the 2028–29 season.
Nana previously played for BUL FC for the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons.
The 20 year old is a senior six student at Jinja Progressive Secondary School.
Kwikiriza operates as a winger and can also play as an attacker.
The player spoke to the club media upon putting pen to paper and said,
Nana was part of the BUL FC side that finished second in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League and semifinalists in the Stanbic Uganda Cup last season.
“I am delighted to join KCCA FC. It is a dream come true to join a club of this caliber. I have had conversations with the club manager and he shared with me his grand plan and philosophy and I believe I can be a key figure to his plans. I want to add on the rich history of this club and I trust that we can do this together with my other teammates.” Said Nana as quoted by the club website
