President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has revealed that there are plenty of jobs in the country.

While addressing the nation during the Budget reading on Thursday at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, Museveni asserted that there are jobs

“Jobs are there but you hear young people crying, “jobs, jobs.” And they have their wonderful papers like the Monitor, they are like enemies of Africa. The other day I saw them [the Monitor] when there was a power blackout because of the testing at Karuma, they were celebrating in their paper that the transmission network cannot handle the power. And I had heard that opinion [from some civil servants], it is interesting to see how enemies link up.” Said Museveni

Museveni also added that oil money will be used for infrastructure and development.

“Oil money will never be used for consumption, as long as the NRM government is in charge. It will only be used for infrastructure and science development. They will be funded by us through the oil money, we shall not borrow. We shall not use the money to import those taka taka (sic) like perfumes and whiskey.”
