Uganda Hippos midfielder Abas Kyeyune has joined Egyptian topflight side Cleopatra Celemica from SC Villa on a four-year deal.

According to his representatives, the Egyptian Premier League activated the buyout clause in Kyeyune’s contract which was USD13,000 after Kyeyune passed the medical.

Kyeyune is currently in Egypt finalising his paperwork before he joining his new teammates.

The club’s major silverware is the Egyptian League Cup trophy (like the EFL Cup in England) which they won last year.
