Former SC Villa captain Kenneth Semakula joins Tunisian club

Uganda Cranes defender and former SC Villa captain Kenneth Semakula has joined Tunisian giants Club Africain.

According to FUFA TV’s Sportlight show, the former SC Villa skipper has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Tunisian outfit.

He joins as a free agent following expiration of his three year deal at SC Villa.

Semakula led SC Villa to their record extending 17th league triumph that ended the club’s 20-year title wait last season.

He joined SC Villa at the start of the 2021/22 season from BUL FC signing a three year employment contract.

Semakula’s new club was founded in 1920 and its colours are red and white. They host their home games at Stade Hammadi Agrebi which has a capacity of 60,000 spectators. The club currently plays in the Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1.
