Reports: Ibrahim Kasinde set to join Spanish Side

Ugandan winger Ibrahim Kasinde is expected to seal a move to Spanish Side Club Deportivo Leganes B according to The Nerve Africa.

Kasinde is reportedly expected to sign a five year employment contract with the Spanish side.

Uganda Premier league sides BUL FC and NEC FC were also interested in Kasinde’s signature this transfer window.

Kasinde who missed the whole of last season due to a long term knee injury will join another Ugandan left back Ibrahim Juma at Leganes.

Leganes was also a former home for Uganda Cranes left back Aziz Kayondo who was recently unveiled at Croatian side FC Slovan Liberec.

Besides missing the 2023/24 season, Kasinde had spent three seasons with Soltilo Bright Stars and during that time, he made 60 league appearances and scored six goals.

He also represented Uganda at the U-17 and U-20 National teams. He featured for the U-20 team at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

CD Leganés B is a Spanish football team from Leganés, in the Madrid. They are the reserve team of CD Leganés and host their home games at Instalación Deportiva Butarque Stadium.

Leganes B competes in Group V of the Segunda Federación which serves as the fourth tier of the Spanish football hierarchy.
