KCCA FC are expected to part ways with left back Herbert Achai this transfer window according to Swift Sports Uganda.
Achai’s employment contract at the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions expires in December this year and is not expected to extend it further.
The left back has for the previous seasons struggled with injuries that saw him miss the whole of the 2022/23 season.
Last season, Achai served as one of the assistant captains at the Lugogo based side.
The Abdallah Mubiru coached side have already lost goalkeeper Derrick Ochan who joined URA FC, left back Mustafa Kizza and last season’s Uganda Premier league top scorer Muhammad Shaban have also confirmed their exits at Lugogo.
KCCA FC have also beefed up their squad with the acquisition of left back Isa Mubiru, Steven Munguchi, Kwikiriza Shafik Nana, Bright Anukani and defender Hassan Muhamud.
