Vipers SC team management have suspended head coach Nikola Kavazovic for a period of one week.
According to Swift Sports Uganda understands the Serbian tactician was suspended after a disagreement with the club hierarchy over his training methods.
It’s revealed that club President Dr Lawrence Mulindwa held a meeting with the Serbian on Thursday and revealed that he was unimpressed with the training methods.
It was also established that Kavazovic was disappointed with what the club President stated and boldly stated that he conducts the club’s training sessions well as a coach.
According to reliable sources, Kavazovic wanted to leave the club after the club’s 3-0 home win against Express FC.
Kavazovic replaced Charles Livingstone Mbabazi at the helms of the six time Uganda Premier league champions on a two year employment contract.
With Kavazovic suspended, John Ayala Luyinda and Fred Muhumuza are to be in charge of the club against champions SC Villa on Friday night.
