The 2024 Masaza Cup tournament climaxed on Saturday, 2nd November at the newly refurbished Mandela National Stadium in Namboole.
Buddu overcame Kyaggwe 1-0 in the entertaining final to clinch their third Masaza Cup trophy.
His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II graced the final at the fully packed stadium.
Mike Walaga scored the all important goal for Buddu who added the 2024 coronation to the 2016 and 2021.
At halftime break, fans from both Buddu and Kyaggwe went into elation when National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine was shown on the Namboole big screen.
Moments later, former Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba was also shown on the screen but Kabaka’s subjects most especially those from Buddu mocked him.
Some fans started singing that “Oyo yalya ate kati Finito other had Jersey branded with Mpuuga Shs500m.
