Midfielder Emmanuel Alex Wasswa has parted ways with 13 time Uganda Premier league champions KCCA FC.
Following his departure at KCCA FC, Wasswa has returned to Express FC on a one year contract.
Wasswa joined in at the start of the 2022/23 season from rivals SC Villa.
At the beginning of last season, the versatile midfielder was loaned to Express FC where he enjoyed an impressive first round.
He played 13 Uganda Premier League games and scored four goals for the Red Eagles.
Wasswa is expected to be an instrumental player at Express heading into a new season after the club lost close to 10 players at the end of the previous campaign.
He is expected to be part of the Express FC team that will face Kenya’s AFC Leopards in an international friendly game to be held at Nakivubo next week.
Besides KCCA and SC Villa, Wasswa also previously played for Ndejje University FC in the Uganda Premier League during the 2018/19 season.
