Uganda Cranes Select team powered past Northern Region Select team 4-0 in the Na Mutima Game played at Booma Playground in Apac District on Thursday.
Henry Kitegenyi fired the Cranes Select team into the lead in the 16th minute. The Sam Ssimbwa coached side went into the halftime breather with a slim lead.
In the second period, Ivan Ahimbishibwe double their advantage before Joseph Akandwanaho made it 3-0.
Moses Aliro completed the scoring in the 57th minute.
At the end of the match, Alpha Thierry Ssali, son to Musician Bebe Cool who came in as a substitute was showered with love by the Northern Region fans.
The Select team will now turn focus on the FUFA Super 8 third place playoff game against Kitara FC on Sunday at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
