Late last month, NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi strongly attacked Kampala central Mp Mohammed Nsereko for fronting the computer misuse act which was passed by parliament and awaits the president’s signature.
Kyagulanyi said the act was aimed at suppressing freedom of speech and that Nsereko the mastermind of the act will be the first victim of his act.
In response, when asked about Kyagulanyi’s remarks last week, Hon Nsereko said he couldn’t have certain discussions with Kyagulanyi and he recommended that Kato Lubwama debates with him since they both did Music Dance and Drama.
Appearing on YouTube channel Kasukulive, Former Lubaga south MP Kato Lubwama when asked about Nsereko’s utterances said Nsereko was right. What he said was not a lie and it’s the truth.
“Where is the lie in what he said? In fact in the whole country Bobi Wine remained with only one competitor and that’s me.”
“It’s me that inspired Bobi Wine to join politics, when I joined parliament he admired what I had archived and he also joined me there.”
“Nsereko did not do anything wrong, that is the truth. Apart from Nsereko and Bobi Wine singing together in the past, it’s me that spent with him the most time and I know him very well.” concluded Kato.
This was not the first time the tree have had a go at each other, Kato Lubwama has always been at loggerheads with NUP and its members after he lost his seat to NUP’s Aloysius Mukasa.
