Former Lubaga South division Legislator Paul Kato Lubwama has been admitted at Medicana hospital, Konya in Turkey.
Lubwama was rushed to hospital on Monday in a terrible condition and underwent a successful operation.
In 2015, Lubwama underwent successful heart surgery in India after medics at Uganda heart institute recommend him for Coronary Artery Bypass treatment.
The comedian turned politician again had colostomy reversal surgery and had his big colon (big intestines) put back in the stomach in 2020. The operation cost him Shs140m.
Meanwhile, Kampala Central MP Muhammad Nsereko has wished his comrade a quick recovery. He revealed this on his Facebook account
“I have received disturbing news about the health condition of my brother and comrade, Hon.Kato Lubwama who is currently admitted in Medicana hospital, Konya, Turkey.” We pray to God for your quick recovery, all possible help is on the way, hang in there brother.” Said Nsereko
Lubwama lost his Lubaga South seat miserably to National Unity Platform’s Aloysius Mukasa Gold during the 2021 General elections.
