Singer Lady Mariam aka Tindatine says that her family members were angered by her success
I was raised by the streets because my father died before I was born. My mother also died of cancer and I ended up moving to different places. That’s how the world raised me.
I wanted to build my own empire. So I decided to use my savings to build a house for myself and my family in Kabwohe. But my family members were not happy. My success angered them. They did everything to sabotage my progress.
“I had a misunderstanding with my big sister and she decided to take issues into the public eye but we have made amends now. She even sent me the shoes I have on now from abroad.”
On getting married

She also assured her fans that she has never taken a music break but only looking for a person who can invest in her career.
