National Economic Empowerment Dialogue (NEED) party president Joseph Kabuleta who was arrested late last month on the 28th of November 2022 has finally been granted bail by the Nakawa court magistrate.
Kabuleta and other party members are being charged for allegedly promoting sectarianism an offense they allegedly committed on 30th May 2022 at one of the party’s press conferences.
Kabuleta who was remanded to Luzira prison for two weeks was earlier today 14th December brought back to the Nakawa court for his bail application to be heard.
The bail application was successful and the former presidential candidate was granted bail with a fee of 2m cash and 20m not cash for his sureties.

Kabuleta’s case hearing was later adjourned to the 18th January 2023.
