PLE exams to be released next week

The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) has confirmed that the Primary Leaving exams (PLE) will be released next week,

The PLE exams were marked at 13 centres by 5,544 examiners.

The Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) Executive director Mr Daniel Odongo confirmed the development while appearing before the Parliamentary education committee yesterday.

“The PLE exams were marked at 13 centres by 5,544 examiners. Marking of UCE examinations has also ended,” Mr Odongo said.

Meanwhile, the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams marking ended before Christmas.

The selection exercise for Senior One will officially begin after exams are released. The exercise will be held at UMA where schools select candidates for their respective schools depending on the set cut-off points.
