Footballer Christopher Aloka collapsed during the first period of a friendly game between students of Apac Town council and Aculawich FC on Tuesday 24th January in Kwania District.
Aloka was rushed to a private clinic in Agwata Town immediately after collapsing.
The doctor at the clinic pronounced him dead on arrival in Agwata Town council.
According to Geoffrey Oguti, the chairman Aculawich FC, doctors had earlier found out that Aloka has some heart complications and had advised his parents to seek medical attention.
He also confirmed that in Aloka collapsed during a community Christmas Cup in 2022 and during a community game in 2021.
Aloka was a midfieder who had just joined Dokolo’s Apiye FC in the fourth Division.
