Musician Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso has changed his name after being recognized by His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.

The Kabaka of Buganda invited Pallaso to sing for him on his 68th birthday celebrations that were held on Thursday at Lubiri, Mengo.

Following the recognition, Pallaso has now added the title of a Sir to his name.

He confirmed the development via his social media platforms that he is now called Sir Pallaso

“As the first Artist to be introduced, Recognized and Appreciated by the KABAKA of Buganda Personally, I want to say to the young people out there, there are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you will look around and you will know it was you and the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.” Pallaso wrote on his Social media platforms.
