KCCA FC terminate Iguma ,Kayanja contracts as departures are confirmed

KCCA FC has on Saturday evening confirmed nine departures ahead of preparations for next season.

The players leaving have either had their contracts expire or mutually agreed with the club to terminate their contracts.

The departures are Benjamin Ochan, defender Geoffrey Wasswa, Denis Iguma, Brian Kayanja, Brian Aheebwa, Ali Mwirusi, Allan Okello, Mustafa Kizza and Brian Majwega.

Iguma and Kayanja have mutually agreed to terminate their employment contracts at the club but the rest have had their contracts run down.

Benjamin Ochan (End of Contract)

The Captain has been serving the club for his third stint. He signed a two years contract from 2021 until the end of June 2023.

•Denis Iguma (Mutual Termination)

Iguma joined KCCA FC in 2020 for two years. In 2022, he renewed his contract with the club until 2024. He has agreed with the club to mutually terminate his contract with the club.

Brian Aheebwa (End of Contract)

Aheebwa signed a three years contract from 2020 till the end of June 2023. He has run down his contract.

Ali Mwirusi Ramadhan (End of Contract)

The KCCA Soccer Academy graduate has run down his contract with the club.

Geofrey Wasswa (End of Contract)

Wasswa signed a two years contract from 2021 to 2023. He has run down his contract.

Brian Majwega (End of Contract)

Majwega signed a two years contract from 2021 to June 2023. He has run down his contract.

Allan Okello (End of Contract)

The Soccer Academy graduate rejoined KCCA FC on a season long loan from AC Paradou and his loan deal ended in June 2023.

Mustafa Kizza (Contract expires on 31st July)

In the second round of the 2022/23 season, the Soccer Academy graduate rejoined KCCA FC on a six months short contract until 31st July 2023.

Brian Kayanja (Mutual Termination)

Kayanja joined KCCA FC in 2021 for three years. He made his debut in 2022 and was later loaned to Maroons for the second round of the 2022/23 season. He has agreed with the club to mutually terminate his contract.
