Former Express striker Erick Kenzo Kambale is on the verge of joining Egyptian Premier League side Ceremica Cleopatra FC.

Kambale will put pen to paper on a three year contract from Sudan’s El Merriekh where he has spent one season as per Swift Sports Uganda.

The striker has also been excluded from El Merriekh’s squad registered to play in next season’s CAF Champions League.

The Congolese born striker joined El Merriekh at the start of the 2022/23 season from Express FC on a two year deal.

Kambale was instrumental in Express FC’s 2020/21 Uganda Premier League title and CECAFA Club cup triumphs.

He previously featured for Dauphin Nior in DR Congo before he crossed borders to feature for Express in 2018.

At El Merriekh, Kambale played five games and scored two goals against Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya and Djibouti’s Arta Solar 7 both in the qualification rounds.
