Striker Edmond Wamboka has joined FUFA Big League side Kataka FC Mbale from Eastern Region League side Mbale Garage FC as per Wabomba Sports.
Kataka FC have been long admirers of
Wamboka and they came close to signing him in January 2022 but the move was blocked by the player’s former side Mbale Heroes FC.
After training for one season with 5th Division League side UCU FC, Wamboka was finally released by Mbale Heroes FC to Mbale Garage FC at the start of last season and he has finally got his wish to join the Lufumbi Boys.
Wamboka Edmond guided Wakoko clan to two successive Bikuuka Football titles in 2020 and 2021, emerging as the top scorer in both editions.
Meanwhile defender Joel Baba Onziku has also reportedly returned to Kataka FC from Mbale Garage FC.
