Former Uganda Cranes captain eats big in Muhoozi’s PLU

Former Uganda Cranes captain Andy Mwesigwa is among those to earn big posts in Patriotic league of Uganda movement.

Mwesigwa was appointed as the football director for youth development in Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s PLU movement.

The former Uganda Cranes skipper currently works as the head coach for his school Andrew Mwesigwa Comprehensive.

During his playing time, Mwesigwa made 72 appearances for the senior national team the Uganda Cranes national, scoring seven goals.

At club level, Mwesigwa featured for Uganda Premier league record champions SC Villa, Iceland’s ÍBV, Chongqing Lifan, Ordabasy, Yenicami Ağdelen and Sài Gòn.

Last week, PLU organized football matches and Netball games at Old Kampala playground.
