It is very rare to see coaches of the same team engage in a bitter verbal exchange during a match. The rare scenario occurred yesterday at KCCA’s MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
Kampala Queens head coach Charles Ayiekoh Mbuzi and Steven Billy Kiggundu who is the club’s goalkeeper’s coach were engaged in a bust-up during the club’s defeat to second tier club She Corporates FC.
It is not known why there was a bust-up between the coaches but it stood out as one of the major highlights and talking points of the game.
She Corporates won 1-0 and advanced to the next round while Kampala Queens automatically bowed out of the tournament.
This was the second defeat of Kampala Queens in a week having lost to Kawempe Muslim 2-0 in the FUFA Women’s League.
This also meant that Women Football moneybags will end the season trophy-less despite a huge investment in player recruitment.
