URA FC part ways with Duo

 

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) have confirmed the departure of their long servant Saidi Kyeyune and Hassan Kalega.

“As Kyeyune embarks on a new chapter in his career, URA FC extends their heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for his future endeavors.” Read a brief statement from the club

Kyeyune’s three year employment contract at the Revenue collectors expired at the end of last season.

He had rejoined the club in 2021 after a short spell at Sudanese giants El Merriekh FC.

Kyeyune first joined URA FC in 2011 from Maroons FC and has also previously featured for Proline FC.

Hassan Kalega has also been let go by the Revenue collectors in a statement, “Farewell, Thank you for your dedication and contributions to URA FC. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!

The duo join other departures at the club who include defender Najib Fesali, Viane Ssekajugo, Eric Ssenjobe and Ibrahim Dada among others.

The club has also been boosted by the arrivals of goalkeepers Derrick Ochan and Abdul Magada, midfielder Ibrahim Kazindula, Amuli Mukasa and defender Bright Vuni.
