Former SC Villa midfielder Hamzah Mulambuzi is set to join Rwandan side Gasogi United FC according to Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Mulambuzi is currently in Rwanda and is close to reaching an agreement with the Rwandan Premier league side.
He has been a free agent since he was released by Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa in January this year.
Uganda Premier league side UPDF FC were also interested in his services but the latest indicates he is to join the Rwandan side on a one year employment contract.
Besides featuring for 17 time league champions SC Villa, Mulambuzi has also previously played for Proline FC.
Gasogi United FC finished 9th on the Rwanda Premier league table last season with 30 points they garnered in 30 games.
