Frank Walusimbi reveals new job after departing NTV

Celebrated veteran journalist Frank Walusimbi has officially confirmed that he has joined United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as a communications officer.

Walusimbi, who had previously retweeted tweets from the UNHCR this week, finally took his social media platforms to confirm his new job.

” Folks, I took on a new role as Associate Communications Officer @UNHCRuganda
For some days now, I have been fathoming out the appreciation and best wishes you sent out to me when I announced that I had ceased my duties at NTV.”

Walusimbi tweeted.

” Words alone cannot express my gratitude. My new role is spanned by humanitarian work and I invite you to contact us should you have an inquiry about refugee matters. Thank you and best wishes.”

He added.

Walusimbi left NTV last week after 15 years of service having joined the TV station as a news anchor in December 2006.

He left a mark as one of the best and most unique Luganda news anchors in the country.
