Ugandan R&B artiste signs for Young Jeezy’s record label CTE World

Swedish born Ugandan R&B artiste Tyra Chantey has signed for American rapper Young Jeezy’s record label CTE World.

Kayongo who is also the manager of Chantey confirmed that they began negotiations with Jeezy’s manager Solomon Forney at the end of last year.

“Their team flew Tyra, her producer/writer and sister Sen Sharell to Atlanta in December 2021 to check her out and see if she has got what it takes to take on the American market. It was after the meeting that the rapper was convinced and decided to sign her”, Kayongo.

She has a three album contract with the new label.
