Hon. Ssemujju Nganda says that Tumwine’s family shouldn’t be surprised to see people demonizing him.
While appearing on NBS TV Frontline program on Thursday, the Kira Municipality Member of Parliament stated that the way Tumwine has been conducting himself caused people led to mixed reaction over his death on social media
“Tumwine is not the only senior military officer that has died. If you have been in active service and conducted yourself the way Tumwine did, the family should expect that.”
“I sympathize with Tumwine’s children, they lost a father, but that’s what it means when you are in active service.”
“At the time, people were mourning their relatives shot during the campaigns; what did he say? Why doesn’t the family reflect on that? This is an emotional reaction.” Said Ssemujju
