On the 17th of September 2022 , NTV’s Faridah Nakazibwe held her maiden show dubbed the greater Masaka fete at the Lugogo Cricket over.

All did not go to plan as the Mwasuze mutya show host had a generally low turn up for the much anticipated show putting into account the number of people who hail from that side of the country.

Asked what could have been the reason for the low turn up, Faridah said she wasn’t certain of what the reason could have been but she thinks it could be more than just one reason.

“I am not certain but it could be the bad wheather but then we have seen successful shows even in the rainy season so I can’t blame it on that entirely.”

“It also could have been because there were other events on the same day, also Saturday is a working day for some people so maybe they were caught up at work”

That said, the few that turned up came with a lot of love, it came from their hearts and that it either for their love of Masaka or Faridah. I appreciate the few that turned up.

Nakazibwe also hinted on the fact that the venue could have been a little too big but she said she looked at people from Masaka as a big community.

She concluded by thanking the sponsors, the people that bought tickets and the media at large that helped to publicize the event.

The Greater Masaka fete continues this Saturday the 24th September in Masaka Recreation grounds. Tickets go for 10k ordinary, 50k VIP and 1M for a table.

Hopefully the event in Masaka has a much better turn up kubanga people from Masaka bantu mwe Faridah May never forgive you!!!
