Ugandan striker Steven Mukwala has reportedly asked his new club Asante Kotoko FC for permission to fetch lucky charm back home

According to an insider Listo Mens, Mukwala wants to return so as to get a very important item he forgot.

“Mukwala has asked the club to permit him go back to Uganda to bring a very important item he forgot back home before coming. The striker believes item is partly responsible for his goal drought.” As per the insider Listo Mens

Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo openly criticized the performance of striker Steven Mukwala following their 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak.

Mukwala joined Asante Kotoko on a two year employment contract after expiration of his contract at URA FC.

The move saw him become the third Ugandan to play for Asante Kotoko after Joseph Ochaya and George Opiyo Abege.

Before joining the Ghanian side, he was close to joining unidentified club in Thailand.

Mukwala won the 2019/20 Uganda Premier league golden boot while featuring for Maroons.
