Police in Apac District has arrested two parents for torturing their 10 year old child.
Nelson Ogwang and his wife Caroline Aol both residents of Ajoadoko “B” cell Alworoceng Parish, Ibuje sub county in Apac are the two suspects arrested by the Police.
It’s alleged that the two set a 10 year old Justine Adok on fire last month. The father bought fish and went to party leaving the victim with his step mother.
On his return, he found the food that was meant for him eaten by his son.
“The step-mother, had tied both his hands and legs with a rope. They both (father and step-mother) started torturing the victim to the extent of burning his body with fire,” said police spokesperson Fred Enanga as quoted by online publication Nettl Media.
The two suspects are in Police custody as investigations continue while the son was taken to his grandfather after treatment at Apac main hospital.
