Singer Irene Namatovu is ready to have a collaboration with NTV Uganda Journalist Solomon Kaweesa.
Kaweesa requested for a collaboration with Namatovu when the singer was appearing at Spark TV program Kona on Friday evening. Kaweesa sent a message to Kona program host Ibrah K Mukasa requesting for a song.
In reply to Kaweesa’s request, Namatovu said,
“I am also a great fan of Kaweesa while he is doing his work as a Journalist. I didn’t know he is also a musician, I am ready to do a collaboration with him. My management is here and they have also heard his request and I am ready to offer him a collaboration.” Said Namatovu.
He has songs such as Akayimbako Maama, Olugendo, Nantalabikalabika, Guma among others.
Briefly on Solomon Kaweesa
Kaweesa is a Ugandan media personality, journalist, radio presenter, teacher, musician, songwriter, producer and farmer. He’s an excellent news reporter and to him, journalism is a talent and a gift from God.
He began working as a radio presenter at Radio Sapientia, a Catholic founded station based in Nsambya before joining Edoboozi newspaper. He joined NTV Uganda in 2013 as an internee.
