Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhammad Nsereko has praised Vipers SC President Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa for investing in Football.
According to Nsereko, it’s not easy to invest in Ugandan football and expect profits.
“I respect people like Mulindwa, it’s not easy to get profits in football most especially here in Uganda.”
“Many have schools like Mulindwa but how many invest in sports like he does. My elder John Chrysestom Muyingo also has schools but does he even have a Netball club. So we have to respect people like Mulindwa, we may differ on certain things. The man has proved that it’s possible to build your own Stadium in the country.” How many Stadiums has our government built, that shows it’s not easy.” Said Nsereko while appearing on Urban TV
Nsereko himself bought Victoria University Football club in January 2015 at Shs100m for a controlling stake of 51 percent from Simo Dubajic before the team limp out of football when they were relegated at the end of the 2016 season.
