On Monday evening, there were reports that the Minister for Education and Sports Peter Ogwang had been rushed to Turkey in critical condition.
The reports on social media continued to claim the Minister had been poisoned with his kidney damaged.
However, a close relative has come out to clarify on why Minister Ogwang travelled to Turkey.
According to Trumpet news website, the relative stated that Minister Ogwang is in Turkey for routine medical checkup.
“These are lies. Alarmists just. The Minister is fine. Yes, he travelled to Turkey for a routine medical checkup and will be back either on Tuesday or Wednesday,” the relative said as quoted by Trumpet news
