Police in Ntungamo are hunting for a 40-year-old man over allegedly hacking another man to death over being in a relationship with his lover.
Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi Regional police spokesman identifies the suspect as Moses Tushabe, a resident of Rwemiriro cell II, Kagango ward, Rubaare Town council in Ntungamo. The suspect is alleged to have hacked Danson Kamugisha to death with a machete (Panga) on the allegation of being in the same love triangle.
Kasasira says police have launched an investigation into the matter as the manhunt for Tushabe continues.
Lauben Rwonkole Kamugisha, the chairman of Rwemiriro cell II, Lauben Rwonkole, says the deceased and the suspect have been at loggerheads claiming to be lovers of Happy Agnes who was abandoned by her former husband, a police officer hailing from Ruhaama.
