Hon. Francis Zaake’s father Emmanuel Ssembuusi Butebi has revealed why he picked Shs10m that had been gifted to his son by Speaker Anita Annet Among.
The Speaker of the 11th Parliament gifted Zaake with Shs10m on his wedding over the weekend but the Mityana Municipality legislator threw the money on the floor.
His father picked up the money and stated,
“I am a businessman and once I see something that adds value to me I take it. I am not a politician and I have to act maturely.” Ssembuusi told Journalists in Mityana.
Zaake and his longtime lover Bridget Nnamirembe officially became husband and wife on Friday, 9th September.
