Lord Mayor Ssalongo Erias Lukwago has asked KCCA FC players and Technical team to up their game since the Lugogo based side is meant for continental football not suffering defeats to very little known sides.
Lukwago made the remarks as KCCA FC was unveiling CHINT Electric at Mestil Hotel in Kampala,
“To the Technical team, Coach Morley and your team, wearing the KCCA shirt is no joke. It’s a well recognised brand. We can’t be in the business of falling to teams that have just come on the stage or anyone for that matter. Our brand is continental.”
KCCA FC finished second last season and neither did they win the Uganda Cup.
They have played two games this season a 3-2 victory against Wakiso Giants and 3-1 defeat to Arua Hill SC.
They next face UPL defending champions Vipers SC on Saturday 22nd-October at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.
