Gen. Floribert Kisembo Bahemuka died 11 years ago as he was shot on April 30th 2011 by government forces in Lonyo village, Djugu in Ituri.

Upto now the country and the army have been in confusion why his name was on a list of military leaders being retired or promoted by president Tshisekedi this week.

Kisembo was the commander of the operational zone in Lubutu, Maniema.

Prior to his death, the army accused him of desertion for two weeks and tormenting rebellion in Djugu, in Orientale Province.
