Chameleone’s mother reveals how she was affected by AK-47’s death

Prossy Mayanja, the mother to musicians Jose Chameleone, Pallaso and Weasel has revealed that she spent three years without sleep following the death of AK-47.

During an interview on Kasuku live, Mrs Mayanja asserted that she used to take tablets for three years inorder to find sleep

“Following the death of AK-47, I spent over three years without sleep. I remember I used to take tablets inorder to find sleep. It was not easy for me and I felt bad that we had buried my son very far but later I realized it was the right thing.” You always feel the pain when the grave is very near than when it is far. Said Mrs Mayanja before adding

“When Radio passed on, I felt for his mother because she had buried her son nearer her house and she could easily see the grave every day. This brings more pain to parent unlike me who left mine very far.” Radio was so special to her and so I feel her pain.” She stated

AK-47 died in March 2015 at Dejavu Bar in Kansanga, a Kampala suburb.

The postmortem report indicated that AK-47 had died from blunt trauma to the head. He was buried at Kalangalo Village in Mityana District.
