Ebibbe tebyala: Kataka misses late dubious penalty against Mbarara City

Kataka FC striker Emma Mukisa’s missed a last minute penalty in their goalless draw with Mbarara City at the Mbale Stadium on Thursday.

The controversial penalty came from in the 89th minute of the game.

Mukisa who is fresh from the U20 AFCON stepped up to convert but goalkeeper Wycliff Mori Manja saved it to ensure a point for Mbarara City.

This is the Ankole Lions’ second consecutive draw following their previous fixture against NEC which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Mbarara City now occupy the third position on the table with 37 points, three adrift leaders Kitara FC and two behind second placed Police FC.

They next host Calvary FC at Kakyeka Stadium next Thursday on 16th March.

Kataka FC are just a place above relegation with 22 points same as Luweero United who are in 13th placed. Kataka next face off with Kitara FC.

Meanwhile, today struggling Jinja North United FC will host relegation threatened Soroti City at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.
