Revealed: Why UEFA President’s State House visit was cancelled

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) President Aleksander Čeferin ended his one day visit to Uganda.

Čeferin arrived in Uganda on Tuesday evening to check on the Aliguma Foundation projects in Acholi Quarters.

On Wednesday, he visited the Acholi Quarters where the unprivileged children from the Aliguma Foundation played an exhibition match.

He was supposed to end his visit to Uganda with a State House visit.

According to sources, he didn’t make the visit to State House since it was cancelled after he reportedly refused to have a Covid-19 test.

Čeferin departed for Rwanda ahead of the FIFA Congress scheduled for Tomorrow in Kigali after concluding his visit to Uganda.

During his visit, Čeferin who was accompanied by the state minister for Sports Hon. Peter Ogwang and the Aliguma Foundation CEO Ritah Aliguma.

Čeferin also oversaw the donation of items including Sanitary Pads, books and footballs, to the children of the Slums in Acholi quarters in Kampala.
