Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga has revealed that the Minister of State for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu is yet to reappear at Police CID headquarters.
According to Enanga, the Minister was expected to go to the headquarters to clarify on certain additional areas into Karamoja iron sheets
“We summoned the minister of State for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu to reappear at CID headquarters to clarify on certain additional areas of inquiry [into Karamoja iron sheets scandal] but she did not turn up.” Police spokesperson Enanga
According to reports, Nandutu is believed to have gone into hiding after the arrest of Hon. Amos Lugoloobi (State Minister for Planning) in connection with the Karamoja Iron Sheets Scandal.
Meanwhile, the State Minister for Planning, Lugoloobi, has arrived at the Anti-Corruption Court in Kololo. Mr Lugoloobi was on Friday arrested in connection with the mismanagement of iron sheets meant for the Karamoja.
