Mr Nathan Okori the father of fallen speaker Jacob Oulanyah with exasperation said that his son did not die of a natural death.
The old man told mourners at his ancestral home in Omoro district that his son was poisoned and left to die.
“I know all of you who have come here are mourners. His (Oulanyah’s) death is not easy news to welcome because I know he did not die of natural causes, he was poisoned”
Minister for information Chris Baryomunsi yesterday said that, they are yet to established what really killed the speaker but inner circles claim that Oulanyah died of Cancer of the intestines.
The president of Uganda Yoweri Museveni will communicate the burial arrangements of Oulanyah but this will not be effected until a new speaker is voted into office .
