Musicians to remember fallen artists today at Lubaga Cathedral

The Uganda Musicians Association together with the Uganda Funeral Services will hold a memorial service today at the Lubaga Cathedral.

The service will be to remember all the artists who passed on and it will be held annually at various religious centers.

Meanwhile, musician Bebe Cool has urged fellow musicians to attend the remembrance service today at Midday.

Bebe Cool used his social media platforms to amplify the message to his fellow musicians at stakeholders in the industry

“Good evening fellow artists, let’s make some time go pray for the most souls of the Ugandan arts, music industry tomorrow midday at lubaga Cathedral.” Thank you all!

The pray is day is organized by the Uganda Musicians Association and the Uganda Funeral Services

Both organisations have called upon all stake holders to attend the Mass in a document dated 1st November

“In a bid to celebrate this Day, UMA and the Uganda Funeral Services have organized a memorial prayer day for the departed souls in the Ugandan arts, culture and creative industry.”

The prayer will be held at the Rubaga Cathedral with a mass starting at Midday this Wednesday 2nd November. This day will be annually celebrated and will keep moving to different prayer centers for the various religions.” Read part of the document.

Musicians such as Herman Basudde, Livingstone Kasozi, Mowzey Radio, Paul Job Kafeero, Philly Bongole Lutaaya, AK-47, Harriet Kisakye among others are to be remembered
