Kira Municipality MP, Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda has revealed that he will quit the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).

While on CBS FM, Ssemujju stated that he will officially leave FDC next year and will confirm his next move.

“I will officially quit FDC next year, I am a man of my word. “If the law was allowing me to leave now, I would have quit yesterday.”

He also fired a warning to those at Katonga over their battle to rescue FDC

“Those still at Katonga are battling to rescue the FDC, I am only warning them that that may not be possible. So the remaining part of my political career will not to fight over the FDC but to fight Museveni.”

Ssemujju spent last year exposing the FDC leadership led by party president Patrick Amuriat and secretary general, Nathan Nandala Mafabi.

He also has accused Mafabi and Amuriat of introducing “dirty money” into the party whose source they declined to reveal.

Following his fallout with the Najjanankumbi faction, Ssemujju was fired as the party chief whip, and replaced him with Mawokota South MP, Yusuf Nsibambi.
